In the wake of crisis, either it be war times or pandemic nature like recent one namely COVID-19 bring always paradigm shift in policies across the world, same thing happened to the United Kingdom. The Britain has changed its immigration policy in order to deter the human trafficking. The policy makers are of view that they have intended not to stop legal asylum seekers but to discourage the criminal smugglers who put innocent lives in the danger by promising them to have asylum in Britain in illegal manner. The case in point is not as simple as it looks.

DANGEROUS STATISTICS

In the course of 2020, thousands innocent people have lost their lives in seas, have been founded stranded in the border areas of Britain having no water, food and shelter. it has been also reported that 32000 Asylum seekers applied via France to enter into the UK as their preferred destination.

POLICY PERPOSE.

It has been said by the policy makers that the policy is point-based not to be dangerous in tone and tenor but to provide Asylum seekers protection and safety in very legal way. It is the historical heritage of Britain to assist people coming from other sovereign states we help them in every aspect of life. Britain never inflicts and to be harsh to them who come here in need. last but not least, the policy will tighten the check on illegal Asylum seekers.

CONTROVERTED FACTS

Various scholars and writers are of the view that this change is the result of BREXIT. Most of people , especially members from EU claim that UK wants to close the entry of refugees and people who are from war-torn areas. There is no such thing in reality. In fact, the devised policy is to mean one and only purpose is to deter the illegal movements of criminal smugglers.

FUTURE PROSPECTS OF POLICY.

It is fortunate thing that the policy will streamline the needy people into the UK and will also provide opportunity to the real asylum seekers. Millions lives can be saved who lost their lives in open seas, near by borders and dilapidated ships and boats without food and shelter for months. More importantly, law and order in Europe can be also ensured and sea-routes can be safe as well through such policies.
